Regina Henrietta Lobato

Chama resident Regina Henrietta Lobato (59), passed away on October 7, 2021, in Alamosa, Colorado.

Regina was born on October 6, 1962, in Denver, Colorado to Eugene “Buddy” and Josephine Lobato.  She is a graduate of Centennial High School in San Luis.  She received her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License from the Luna Community College.

She went on to work in Labor and Delivery as an Obstetrics Technician at Holy Cross Hospital in Taos along with a long career as a CNA.

Regina is survived by her children, Michael Lobato and Gilbert (Miroslava) Apodaca, her grandchildren, Aniah Lobato, Michael A. Lobato, Remigio Apodaca and Romelio Apodaca. She is also expecting a great-grandchild, Eugene A. Lobato. She is also survived by her parents Eugene “Buddy” and Josephine Lobato, her siblings, Rita (Paul) Crespin, Armand (Michelle) Lobato, Rose (Leroy) Sandoval, Vernon (Sandy) Lobato, Josephine Lobato and Emilo (Lillian) Lobato as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother Eugene Lobato.

Cremation was selected and a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Sangre De Cristo Parish in San Luis.  A Rosary will be held prior to the Mass at 9:30 am also at the church.
