ALAMOSA — Bill Werner, Ayesha Williams and Robert Hall from Red Cross set up an information booth at the Volunteer Recruitment Fair hosted by Adams State University on September 12th. They enjoyed meeting local students, staff and those from out of state who have chosen to obtain a degree here. 

“Many we spoke with were not prepared, especially newcomers who have yet to spend a winter with us here in the San Luis Valley,” Werner said. “Along side many other great organizations, it was a proud day to represent the Red Cross and help our youth prepare for their safety and provide volunteer opportunities to extend knowledge, skills and abilities.”
