Rebecca (Becky) Irene White

Feb. 12, 1972-Dec. 16, 2022

Rebecca (Becky) White was truly a bright light in this world. She had a natural way of making people feel at ease and like they had known her for years. She always had a smile and love of people, interacting with people, and helping someone whenever she could.

She was loved and cherished by her husband of 16-plus years Darren. Darren was her advocate and loving caregiver until the end.

Rebecca was born on Feb. 12, 1972, to David and Margaret Tolliver. She grew up on their family farm in Southern Colorado with her sisters Jennie, Cindy, Lori, Mandy and her brother Keith, and enjoyed playing outside with her numerous friends and cousins, riding three-wheelers, and just being outside in the sunshine.

Over the years, she discovered she had a natural ability and love of interior decorating and spending time in her beautiful flower gardens. She was an amazing home decorator — inside and outside — and was always humbled and pleased when she received the many compliments visitors or neighbors shared with her on her tastes.

Rebecca was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2020 and endured multiple surgeries, chemo and radiation into 2021, where she received a clean bill of health.

In November of 2021, after several months of discomfort and pain, she was diagnosed with metastasized bone and liver cancer. She battled valiantly but gracefully through many treatments until she fell asleep in death on Dec. 16, 2022. (1 Thessalonians 4:13) Rebecca had a deep faith which she relied on through her great battle and felt comfort and peace that her name was in the book of life (Rev 3:5), and she will answer when her name is called in the resurrection (Job 14:15; John 11:25), and she will shine even brighter and bear no more pain (Rev 21:4).

Rebecca is survived by her husband Darren, son Justin, and two daughters, Haley and Myka, as well as her beloved dog Chewy and cat Pixie, as well as aforementioned parents and siblings.
