VALLEY — South Conejos School District, Centauri High School National Honor Society/Centauri High School Warriors, Conejos Clean Water, Bureau of Land Management, Sangre de Cristo National Heritage Area, the Town of Antonito, and Conejos County will be offering the following “Put Waste in its Place” Collection Days to celebrate National Public Lands Day:

• Friday, September 28, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

201 Main Street in Antonito (next to the library)

• Saturday, September 29 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

17575 County Road P in Manassa

At the District 2 County Shop

We will collect:

Batteries including: car batteries, lithium batteries, and rechargeable

Do it yourself oil (no bigger than oil in 2.5 gallon jugs)

Construction and demolition

Household trash

Small appliances

Electronics

Dry paint

Furniture

Twine

No yard waste, tires, bio-waste (including sharps), human waste, wet paint, medications, animal carcasses, or HAZMAT!
