Public invited to budget hearing

ALAMOSA — The board of supervisors of the Mosca-Hooper Conservation District will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 1 at the USDA Service Center, 101 S. Craft. Dr., Alamosa, and the following items of business will be considered and acted upon:

Discussion of regular business plus discussion and adoption of the REVISED budget for the 2018 fiscal year beginning January 1, 2018.

Citizens are encouraged to attend and offer feedback.

The Mosca-Hooper Conservation District board may convene in executive session on any of the above items in accordance with (CRS 24-6-402) Colorado Sunshine Act.

Mosca-Hooper Conservation District (MHCD) is a county-wide district in Alamosa County established on June 7, 1943. Total acreage within the District is 462,000 acres. The mission of MHCD is to provide leadership in natural resource management for the betterment of all present and future residents of the district through education and example.
