Photography show opens June 30

CREEDE — Mountain Shootout Photography Show will open June 30 at 6 p.m. at the Creede Visitor Center. The show will be available to view thru September 18th.

The show features 27 photographs by regional artists.  The first place award was won by Tyler Garcia of Center for “High Valley.” Carolyn Keller of Monte Vista was awarded second place for “Reflected Truck.” Alamosa resident Dennis House’s photograph “Alaskan Moose” was awarded third place. 

Everyone is invited to vote for their favorite landscape during the run of the show. The result will win the People’s Choice Award. CAC also will purchase that photograph for permanent display in the Visitor Center.

Everyone is welcome to attend the opening this Friday.
