Pesticide applicator’s course set

CENTER — Center Conservation District will be hosting a Pesticide Applicator’s Continuing Education Credits (CEC) Class on October 17. All persons interested in obtaining Continuing Education Credits are invited to attend. The workshop will start at 9 a.m., with lunch at 12 p.m. Don Henderson, DP AG Services and Pesticide Education Specialist will lead the class.

The basic courses covered in this workshop will be: Laws & Regulations, 2 credits; Pesticides & Their Families, 1 credit; Environmental Protection, 1 credit; Applicator Safety, 1 credit; Pesticide Use, 1 credit; and Public Safety, 1 credit.

There is no cost for the workshop. Lunch will be provided following the class.
