Blanca resident Peggy Jo Dennis, 78, went to her eternal rest on March 31, 2019 at the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center. Peggy was born on April 5, 1940 in Caldwell, Idaho, the daughter of Vern Virgil Williams and Ruth Dildine Williams. She worked as a CNA for many years and enjoyed raising chickens, going to the mountains, going on rides and her joy in life came from being able to take care of others. 

Survivors include her son Wesley Joe Dennis of Blanca, CO; grandson Devin Jo Smith of Denver, CO; niece Tammy Williams of Grants Pass, OR; nephews Chucky Williams of Seattle, WA; Scotty Williams of Portland, OR. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Vern and Ruth Williams, sons Greg Arch and Darwin Williams, two brothers Allen and Carl Williams.
