ALAMOSA — Alamosa resident Patricia “Patsy” Rodriguez, 62, passed away January 10, 2021, at Penrose Medical Center in Colorado Springs. Patsy was born on September 28, 1958, in Alamosa, Colorado, the daughter of Isidore Rodriguez and Bernice Jimenez Rodriguez. Patsy was a beloved member of  Blue Peaks Developmental Services for many years and worked at Day Services. She enjoyed her activities and the time she spent with her friends and staff there. Patsy was a kind and loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who enjoyed listening to music and working in the recycling center.

Survivors include her sisters Solema Sanchez of Sterling, CO; Sue (Alex) Rivera of Espanola, NM; brother John “Freddie” Rodriguez of Center, CO; nieces and nephews Shawna Lobato of Espanola, NM; Sheila Montoya of Santa Fe, NM; Scott Angelo Lobato of Rio Rancho, NM; Isaiah Sanchez of Denver, CO; Rachel Sanchez of Phoenix, AZ; Tara Mendoza of Denver, CO. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents Isidore and Bernice Rodriguez as well as four siblings.

A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 8:30 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Antonito.  A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 9:00 AM, also at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
