ALAMOSA — The Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce proudly announces that the 2017 Fourth of July parade theme is “Heroes Among Us.” This theme will allow the community to recognize those groups and individuals that live and work here in the San Luis Valley. In addition to veterans, heroes can also be police officers, firemen, EMTs, teachers and many others who serve and sacrifice for the community. Parade applications are now being accepted through Wednesday, June 28th. For those who would like to participate in the parade, please register at the Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce office, 610 State Ave. in Alamosa.
