Operations move to Crestone

MOFFAT – An overnight lobby fire in the Moffat Post Office lobby has impacted building access. All mail operations including Post Office Box mail and retail services will be served out of the Crestone Post Office, 166 S. Alder Ave. until further notice. Customer should bring proper identification.

The move impacts about 150 Post Office Box holders. Additionally, there are two rural routes that operate out of Moffat. Their mail will be sorted at alternate locations and regular mail delivery will resume Saturday.

“Your mail is safe with us and we hold it until the repairs are made,” said Crestone Postmaster Susanna Silva.
