ALAMOSA -— Save the date for the 2nd Annual SLV Nonprofit Collaboration Summit on Thursday, Oct. 12 at River of Life Church. This one-day event is an opportunity for nonprofit staff, volunteers and board members to network, share and collaborate.

As a result of the San Luis Valley Rural Philanthropy Days event held in Creede in September 2015, a coalition of Valley nonprofit leaders began planning an annual Nonprofit Collaboration Summit. Last year, 121 attendees representing more than 70 nonprofits connected with others across the Valley.

At this year's event, attendees will have the chance to engage in purposeful networking and discover innovative ways to share resources. Participants will engage in facilitated discussions addressing the most pressing challenges facing the Valley.
