ALAMOSA — As of Tuesday, no suspects were yet in custody in the August 9^th shooting death of Mathias “Matt” Fritz, 39, of Alamosa, and the investigation is continuing.

Alamosa County Sheriff Robert Jackson said sheriff office investigators are continuing to work with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation in conducting interviews and following leads in the case, but there were still no suspects in custody in connection with the fatal shooting.

The female victim who was also shot when Fritz was killed at an East Alamosa apartment on Thursday is still in a hospital out of the area being treated for her injuries.
