SAN LUIS VALLEY – The San Luis Valley Rattlers Mountain Biking Team is hosting its annual “Ride with a Rattler Day” for middle school and high school students who are interested in trying mountain biking as an activity or sport. The ride will begin across from the Limekiln trailhead, just west of Monte Vista, on Saturday, June 1, at 10 a.m., to see what mountain biking is all about.

Team riders and coaches will orient students to their bikes and lead rides based on skill level. Take a short ride and experience the thrill of climbing, single track riding and navigating small obstacles. Team up with other students that have a love for the outdoors and learn skills that will last a lifetime.
