Adam State’s first track and field national champion Larry Zaragoza (pictured right) and another former ASU track and field standout had the honor of unveiling the new monument in front of the stadium. The monument memorializes Adams State’s NAIA and NCAA national championship teams and individuals  and includes the names of all the championship team members and coaching staff who made these achievements possible.
