On 01/17/19 at 06:55 p.m., Monte Vista Police Department responded to a call in 400 block of Ulysses Blvd in reference to a possible burglary. Upon arrival, officers learned that the suspect fled the scene after forcing entry into the residence and assaulting two parties inside.

The suspect was identified as Ricky Trujillo, threatened to return and kill the victims. It was reported that he was armed with a handgun. He was last seen fleeing the area wearing a white long sleeve shirt and basketball shorts. Ricky is a described as a 28-year-old Hispanic male, 5’4” tall, weighing approximately 140 lbs. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
