Monte Vista Kiwanis install new officers/directors

MONTE VISTA — The Monte Vista Kiwanis Club held its Annual Installation Banquet on October 4 at the Tri-County Senior Citizens. 

President Mary Baumfalk presented certificates of appreciation to all members listing the hours and club projects they participated in for their service to the community. 

District Governor, Karen Miller, District Governor for Division #5 and member of the South Fork Kiwanis Club, installed the incoming officers for the club year 2018-2019.  Officers are Wayne Wittner, President; Colette Skeff, President-Elect; Don Noland, Secretary; Karen Widger, Treasurer; and Directors: Past President, Mary Baumfalk, Janet Noland and Debbie Palmgren.  Mary Baumfalk presented the “Kiwanian of the Year” to Don Noland.  President Baumfalk and Don Noland, Member Sponsor, installed Joseph Lucero, D.D.S./Prothodontist, as a new member of the club. 

The club thanks the Tri-County Executive Board, who served a wonderful meal and decorated the tables with the Kiwanis colors for the banquet.  The club thanks all the outgoing Kiwanis and directors for their time and service and welcomes the incoming officers and directors to lead the club for the new year.
