Montano receives statewide award

During Wednesday night’s council meeting, Alamosa city council and staff recognize Daniel Montano, center, as the recipient of the Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator of the Year. Montano was recognized during the statewide operators meeting for his dedication to his work and his efforts in serving the Alamosa community.

“It’s a big honor, a big accomplishment for me,” Montano said. “I am just going to continue to work my best, work hard, be the operator I want to be and continue to succeed.”
