ALAMOSA – Jacqueline Christine Stephens, 52, of Hooper who was reported missing last week, was found deceased in Saguache County on April 1, according to the Alamosa County Sheriff’s office.

A report on the ACSO Facebook page said the investigation is ongoing but there is currently no threat to the community. She was last seen Friday, March 26 leaving from work in the area of 17th and Ross Avenue here.

The ACSO thanked Saguache County Sheriff Dan Warwick and his deputies, as well as REACH helicopter for their assistance in the investigation. They also expressed their condolences to the family and friends of Stephens’.
