PUEBLO -— Mike Garcia, 69, of Pueblo passed away on Feb. 28, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carla Garcia; children, David (Makaela) Garcia and Diana (Greg) Trujillo; grandson, Eli Garcia; mother Grace Garcia; siblings, Joe Garcia (Patsy Lopez); Ron (Vicky) Garcia; Rick (Betty) Garcia; Lorraine (Tony) Ramos; Gina (Tony) Coca: numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.  Mike worked at Adams State University for 30+ years as Director of Upward Bound as well as Director of TRIO programs.  He was also an avid runner and track official. 

He enjoyed playing golf, baseball and basketball.  Mike was a dedicated Bronco’s fan and served as Alamosa County Democratic Chair for many years.  He will be forever loved and deeply missed by all those he leaves behind.

Rosary, 9:30 am, Mass of Resurrection, 10:00 am, Friday, Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Inurnment at Imperial Memorial Gardens followed by a reception at Union Depot Hall.
