Michael Allen Boreson, 39, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2018, at his home surrounded by love.

Michael is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Allen and Charlotte Boreson; Grandmother Jenny Lopez; Uncle Tom Lopez and Aunt Barbara Simms; Grandparents In-Law, Frank and Catherine Robeda. Survived by his loving wife, Kelli, and three beautiful children, Max, Samuel and Charlotte. Also survived by his loving and devoted parents, Bruce and Josephine Lopez Boreson; his dedicated and passionate brother, Stephen Stormer; as well as his devoted and caring in-laws, Randy and Nancy Baker; Sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Andrew and Staci Comden, Nieces, Rubi and Catherine Comden; Nephew, Alister Comden; Sister-in-Law, Jenni Baker.

Michael was a dedicated and passionate human being in life and lived every second full of heart and grit. He was a beloved coach and teacher at Pueblo West High School, dedicating his career to meeting the needs of any student who walked in his door, stepped on the field or entered the wresting ring. Through his battle with ALS we have all learned the importance of being great, every day.

A memorial celebration of his life will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 2 pm at Pueblo West High School, 661 W. Capistrano Ave., Pueblo West.
