ALAMOSA —Melissa Elaine Hall, 91, passed away on Tuesday March 17th, at the San Luis Care Center in Alamosa.
Melissa was born on March 6th, 1929 in Leadville, to Frank and Christine Robinson. On November of 1949 she married William Walter Hall in Taos, and together they grew their family. She loved her family dearly.
Elaine is survived by her children, Walter (Julie Donald) Hall; John (Linda) Hall; Richard (Jeannette) Hall; and Sharon (Jim) Stanley; daughter-in-law, Roberta Hall; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Jo Nason, Barbara Erwin, Marleene Moore and John (Debbie) Robinson; brother-in-law, Jeff Lay; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Christine; husband, Bill; infant daughter, Edith Jolene; infant grandsons, Matthew and Gregory Hall; great-grandson, Alec Hotz; and nine of her siblings.
There will be a viewing at Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa on Thursday March 19th, from 6-8 p.m. and a Graveside Service at the Alamosa Cemetery on Friday March 20th at 10 a.m.
