SAN LUIS — San Luis resident Mary Lou Aragon, 64, went to be with the Lord on November 12, 2019. Mary Lou was born on June 30, 1955 in Jaroso, CO, the daughter of Eluterio Valdez and Lilia Maez-Valdez.

She was a loving and kind mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who enjoyed going to church, watching her grandchildren participate in sports, doing puzzles, reading, family gatherings and was an avid Bronco fan.

Mary Lou is survived by her daughters Denise Valdez and Monique (Leon) Casias both of San Luis, CO; sisters Ruby (Eduardo) Molina of Blanca, CO; Eva Ramirez of Alamosa, CO; Bonnie (Frank) Kuhn of San Luis, CO; sister-in-law Rebecca Valdez of Hesperia, CA; sister-in-law Cleo Maes of Pueblo, CO; brothers Juanito David Valdez of San Luis, CO; Chris D. (Megan) Maes of Castle Rock, CO; grandchildren Taileigh Valdez, Alexia Valdez, Lennie Valdez, Dilano Bosch, Noah Casias, Heaven Casias and Destiny Casias.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband Richard Aragon; parents Eluterio and Lilia Valdez; siblings Chris Maes, Sr., Ernest Valdez, Daniel Valdez, Loretta Valdez, Grace Cordova; nephew Joey Galdean; brother-in-law Salvador Ramirez and sister-in-law Ellen Valdez.

A prayer service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019, 6:00 PM at the Apostolic Assembly Church and a funeral service will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM also at the Apostolic Assembly Church, 700 Alfonso St., San Luis, CO.
