ALAMOSA — Lane Malouff, 32, was sentenced this week to eight years in the Department of Corrections (DOC) for two counts of class 4 felony tampering with a witness or victim in a 2017 case. He was also sentenced to three years DOC for F5 menacing, eight years DOC for burglary of a dwelling, and 18 months DOC for violation of bail bonds in a 2016 case. The cases both involved domestic violence.  The sentences within each case are to run concurrent, but the sentence from the 2017 case is to be served consecutive to the sentence in the 2016 case. The resulting sentence is 16 years DOC with five years of mandatory parole.
