Local author to share second publication at the Narrow Gauge Book Cooperative

Author Bill Hatcher will be at the Narrow Gauge Book Cooperative this Thursday.

ALAMOSA — The Narrow Gauge Book Cooperative is proud to sponsor a book reading with author Bill Hatcher on Thursday, November 8 from 6-7 p.m. Hatcher, from Saguache, is sharing excerpts of his newest book titled “Principles of Flight: Flying Bush Planes Through a World of War, Sexism, and Meat.”

Hatcher’s is a story of grand adventure interwoven with psychosocial inquiry into the masculinism that dominates the world. This event is not to be missed!

Principles of Flight has been nominated for a 2018 Pushcart Prize and the 2018 National Indie Excellence Award. Hatcher is an active member of the Lighthouse Writers Workshop, an independent creative writing center.

In addition to writing, Hatcher teaches geography and anthropology in southern Colorado.

Both Principles of Flight and Hatcher’s debut book, “Marble Room: How I Lost God and Found Myself in Africa,” are available at the Narrow Gauge Book Cooperative.
