Linda Ann Hagedorn

ALAMOSA — Linda Ann Hagedorn, 72, passed away on Aug. 8, 2019 in Alamosa.  Linda was born April 23, 1947 in York, Neb. to Stanley and Dorothy Fay Kohtz.  She was one of nine children that blessed this family.

Linda was a very successful woman, both professionally, and in the home.  Anything she put her mind to she was able to accomplish. She worked in the local bank and truly loved what she did.  She enjoyed customer service and was able to use that passion while she started as a bank teller, and eventually worked her way up all the way to bank president.

Linda had a zest for life.  Her and her siblings would always enjoy picking on each other, and playing small pranks on each other.  This worked out well because Linda loved to laugh and some of those practical jokes would really get her laughing, even if she was the one the joke was played on. She was very family-oriented and had a wonderful relationship with all of them, especially her father whom even into his latter years they would call each other during the Broncos game to discuss what they needed to do to ensure victory.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Glen Hagedorn.  Her son Darren (Jillene) Hagedorn. Her grandchildren: Tylor (Bonnie), Nolan, Coleton, Matthew, Landon and Railyn.  Her great-grandchildren Eddward Hagedorn and Alexander Hagedorn.  Her siblings: Carol Farr, Mary Shively, Beth Pando, Neal Kohtz, Jeanette Romero, Keith Kohtz and Pamela Dorton.  As well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Dorothy Fay Kohtz and her brother Stanley “Ned” Kohtz.

Cremation was chosen and entrusted to Rogers Family Mortuary of Monte Vista. A memorial service will be held at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Monte Vista, on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 11 a.m.  A private graveside service for internment of ashes will take place at a later date at the Monte Vista Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Peters Lutheran school in care of the funeral home.
