ALAMOSA — Join the Alamosa Public Library, 300 Hunt Ave., on September 1, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. for an open house for “The PAD” (Playful Adventure Destination), created with funds from the Colorado State Library, Growing Readers Together grant.

Families, caregivers and kids of all ages are invited to come experience this new space, enjoy fun literacy activities and receive new program information and giveaways.
