Letter to the editor: Thanks for making crane fest successful

The 35th Monte Vista Crane Festival was a huge success this year. Demand for tours was high and all were filled to capacity. I spoke to many guests that had come for the first time due to the many publicity efforts put forth by the Crane Fest planning committee this year.

Hosting this event would not be possible without the support and active participation of these sponsoring businesses, organizations, and people:

Above all, thanks go to the unsung; the City of Monte Vista staff that quietly go about their business behind the scenes, hanging banners, cleaning the building and restrooms, processing vendor registrations, and all the other tasks I’ve forgotten to mention.

Please support and thank these businesses, organizations, and people whenever you can.

Sincerely,

Jerry Apker
