Letter to the Editor: Mountainfilm on Tour a great success!

 

On January 24 Mountainfilm on Tour brought 11 films; short documentaries about people, places, and our great outdoors intersect.  The films presented ideas about breaking stereotypes, looking at our world (or even our moon) with a fresh perspective, and to consider that our age, weight, gender, or skin color do not define us or confine us.  You almost had to be there to appreciate it and 264 intrepid people came on a frigid night to the Vali Theater in Monte Vista to do just that.  Thank you folks!

With the help of Christi Bode, Moxicran Media, Rio Grande Savings and Loan Association, Rio Grande County Tourism Board, the Del Norte Chamber of Commerce, and the Monte Vista Chamber of Commerce, the evening was a great success.  We want to thank these additional sponsors and donors to the film festival and charity fundraiser:
