The Cattails Golf Board recently met with the developers of the Rio Bravo RV project. Due to the potential proximity to the Cattails Golf Course, we felt it was pertinent to meet with the developers to discuss any challenges it may present and to discuss potential to the golf course. The board had the opportunity to hear plans and discuss options with the developers and ask questions that we have been hearing in the community.

The proposed plan will not obstruct normal play of the golf course or interfere with the natural beauty Cattails offers players. The developers intend to work closely with the Golf Board in every way to ensure a healthy working relationship between both entities going forward. The RV Resort offers real economic opportunity, not only to Alamosa but to Cattails Golf Course. The board sees this as an opportunity to share our wonderful course through additional memberships and other business the RV community will bring.

The Cattails Golf board looked carefully at the aspects of this project and impact it may have both negative and positive, after which we decided to write this letter to support the proposed RV Resort at its location which consists of both currently private and city property, adjacent to the golf course.

We ask that if you support economic development and this project that you reach out to your elected city council members and voice your support.
