Denver resident Kristiana Rose Martinez Lujan, infant, passed away April 24, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  Although she was only with us for a short time, she made a life-long impression on all of us and we are all better for having spent this time with her.  We will love her and miss her forever.

Survivors include her parents James Martinez and Jenny Olivas of Denver, CO; sister Nakyla of Denver, CO;  maternal grandmother LuLu Trujillo of Antonito, CO and Johnny Olivas of Antonito, CO; paternal grandparents James and Corina Lujan of Antonito, CO; uncle Joshua Lujan of Antonito, CO; aunts Desiree Olivas of Antonito, CO; Kimberly Olivas of Antonito, CO; Uncles Remigio and Carlyn Martinez of Manassa, CO; Leofredo and Dedra Martinez of Antonito, CO; Manuel and Nereida Jacquez of Lordsburg, NM and Lewie Jacquez of Lordsburg, NM; great aunts Jeannie (Isidore) Baroz of Trinidad, CO and Elaine Trujillo of Denver, CO; cousins Alexis Olivas of Denver, CO; Leeanna Olivas of Antonito, CO; Ellianez Martinez of Antonito, CO and Kimberly Sisneros of Antonito, CO; paternal great-grandparents Remigio and MaryAnn Martinez and Mercedes Lujan.   She was also survived by several cousins.

Kristiana is preceded in death by brother Jahryl and great-grandfather Gustavo Lujan, cousins Jeremy Trujillo and Brian Mondragon, great-grandmothers Bernadette Jacquez and Adella Trujillo.

A Vigil Service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Conejos.  A Mass of the Angels will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM, also at Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Interment will follow at the Las Mesitas Cemetery in Las Mesitas.  The care of arrangements has been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of Antonito.
