Kenton Goodge, 57

ANTONITO — Kenton Goodge, 57, passed away at home in Antonito.

Ken was born on Aug. 15, 1962 to Joseph and LaNella Goodge and was one of four children.

Ken was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and adventures in the mountains whenever he could.

Kenny attended grade school at Manassa Elementary and attended high school at Centauri High School.

Kenny joined the service after high school. He was in the U.S. Army for three years, part of which was spent in Germany. When his service was concluded, he worked for Bill Rogers, Asplundh and Robin’s Construction, where he enjoyed driving truck until his failed health caused him to quit. Then he enjoyed working in his yard.

Ken was proceeded in death by his father, Joseph Goodge.

He is survived by his wife, Gerry; mother, LaNella; step-daughters, Alanae (Jaron) Cahoon and Jennifer Timmerman; siblings, Terry, Susan, and Jerry; five grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews whom all loved him dearly.

The family has chosen cremation and a graveside service, which will be held at Fox Creek Cemetery on Wednesday Jan. 22, 2020 at 11 a.m.
