Twenty-Five year resident Kent (Bub) Lewis Poole, 77, passed away March 24, 2018 at the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center.

Bub’s life began December 29, 1940 in Menan, Idaho. He was one of 10 children born to Kenneth and Verla Poole.

Bub worked for the logging industry for many years, which he enjoyed immensely. He also worked as a mechanic and loved tinkering with all types of equipment and cars. He spent his leisure time hunting, fishing and watching western movies.

He is survived by siblings Colleen Lowe (Max); Carol Rhodes (Sharl); Jack Poole (Linda); Fahn Jenkins (Larry); JoAnn Wright (Steve); Janet Jansson (Paul); Kester Poole (Ann); MarAnn Oien (Roger); three sons- Kenny George; Kent Jr. and Jamie; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sibling Helen (Penny) Brink (Jack); Brother in laws Max Lowe, Sharl Rhodes and Paul Jansson.

Cremation was chosen and a “Celebration of Life” will be held April 7, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 at the Hooper Town Hall- 294 S. Worth Street, Hooper, CO.
