MONTE VISTA — Joseph Albert Vialpando, 74, passed away peacefully at his home April 13, 2020. Joseph was born on May 1, 1945, in Laramie, WY; the son of Albert Vialpando and Priscilla Sanchez Vialpando.

He worked as a truck driver for many years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, working on the computer, watching Western movies, building things and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be dearly missed. 

Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Torrez of Colorado Springs; son, Jordan Vialpando of Monte Vista; granddaughter, Ursula Torrez of Colorado Springs; sisters: Mable (Levi) Vialpando of Colorado Springs; Judy Diaz of Colorado Springs; brothers: Ernest (Cindy) Vialpando of Colorado Springs; and Steve (Charlene) Vialpando of Laramie, WY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Priscilla Vialpando and his wife, Rita Vialpando.
