Alamosa resident Johnny Gonzales, 56 passed away on December 23rd, 2020. Johnny was born on 11/15/1965 in Denver, Co to Richard Gonzales and Antonia Marquez.

Johnny was outgoing, had a great sense of humor and loved watching and cheering for the Denver Broncos. Most of all Johnny loved his children; he was the most loving father, he loved being with family. Johnny’s hobbies included collecting Bronco memorabilia, social media and spending time with his children and friends. Johnny could light up the room with his presence, he had the ability to make anybody laugh, and he had a smile that was contagious. Johnny was full of life and his legacy will live on through his children, he was loved by many and will be missed.

Johnny is survived by his wife Angela Gonzales, children, Jerina (Rena) Gonzales, Neveah Gonzales, Mariah Gonzales, Aaliyah Gonzales and Johnny Gonzales JR, his Father Richard (Kathy) Gonzales, siblings Andrea (Chris) Burciago, Jesse Gonzales, Richard (Pelon) (Ella) Gonzales Anna (Tim) Gonzales, Frankie (Dorothy) Gonzales, Ursula (Rick) Aguilar, James (Angela) Gonzales, Eddie (Hao) Gonzales, Tony (Sherri)Carney, Antonia (Marco) Maynes. Along with numerous nieces, cousins aunts and uncles.

Johnny is preceded in death by his mother, Antonia Marquez and brother Domingo Maynes. A rosary will be held on April 10 at 9:30 am followed by mass at the Sacred Heart Church in Alamosa.
