John “Jack” Riggin passed away May 20, 2023, in Cheyenne, Wyo. He was born to John and Harriet Riggin in Alamosa where he grew up and graduated from high school.

After graduation he served three years in the Navy. Then moved to Cheyenne, Wyo., where he raised his family and retired as a truck driver.

John had a great sense of humor. Everyone loved his stories and the way he told them.

He enjoyed showing his 1953 Ford pickup and won many awards.

Survivors include children Cory (Karen) Riggin, Kelly (Jeff) Schaff, girlfriend Anna Smith, twin sister Martha Grider, sister Sue (Rod) Murr special pet Miss Kitty and several nieces and nephews.

Military services will be held May 30 at Cheyenne National Cemetery at 11 a.m.
