ALAMOSA – Alamosa resident Jesse ‘Chuy’ Flores, 39, passed away on January 1, 2021.

Flores was born on July 11, 1981 in Alamosa to Loyda and Bacilio Flores.

Flores was an outgoing, generous, loving man. He loved to spend time and made sure that his parents, siblings, nieces, fiancé and sons knew how much they meant to him. In addition to providing for his family, he loved country music and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Jesse is survived by two sons, Draden Flores of Alamosa and Adan Flores of Pueblo, his parents Loyda and Bacilio Flores, his siblings, Sandra (Joe) Archuleta of Manassa, Julie Johnson of Arizona, Jimmy Johnson of Denver, Chris Flores of Alamosa, Brian Flores of Alamosa and Eric (Jannelle) Flores of Alamosa. He was also survived by his high school sweetheart who he was soon to wed, Veronica Lozoya, of Alamosa and Delicia Lozoya, extended friends, and family. His love for his nieces, Krista DuPont, Patricia Archuleta, Brianna Archuleta, Lilliana Flores, Lyla Flores and Ella Flores was something he made sure everyone knew.

Cremation was chosen and services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Conejos, Colo. The rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. and a memorial mass will be at 10 a.m.
