Jacqueline Christine Lujan

HOOPER — Hooper resident Jacqueline Christine Lujan, 52, passed away on April 1, 2021. She was born to Nestor Joseph and Jennie Avelina (Rodriguez) Lujan on February 10, 1969, in Grand Junction, Colo. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, basking in the great beauty of the great outdoors and especially sharing special moments with her children. Jacqueline was the Saguache County Assessor for 6 terms, she was also a valuable member of numerous school and community committees.

Jacqueline is survived by her children, Miranda Marie Stephens and Zebulon John Stephens as well as her father Nestor Lujan of Saguache, sister Paula Lujan of Hooper and her brother Nestor Alan (Grace Kushan) Lujan of Westminster as well as her nieces and nephews, Jason (Faith Alvarez) Romero, Zachary (Michelle Anderson) Lujan, Jennifer (Joseph) Rogers and Christina Lujan, her grandnieces, Olivia Rogers and Karlie Rae Romero, her grandnephew Jason Romero, one great-grandniece Camilla Romero as well as extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother.
