ALAMOSA — Isaac “Spanky” Romero, 38, went to his eternal rest on Sept. 1, 2019. Isaac was welcomed into the world on July 13, 1981 in California, the beloved son of Gilbert Flores Romero and Frances Ramos Romero. Gilbert was an exceptional and loving son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who enjoyed cooking for his family, being the jokester of the bunch, going camping, collecting rocks and traveling. His time here with us was not long enough, but Isaac left an impression on everyone he met that will last a lifetime.
He will live on through his mother Frances Romero of Imperial, Calif.; daughter Brandy Romero of Denver; sons Isaac Romero Jr., of Denver; Devin Romero of Alamosa; mother of his children Anita Rivera of Denver; brother A.B. (Drea) Romero of Alamosa; Nick Romero of Colorado Springs; sisters Rosalie Romero of Colorado Springs; Annabelle (Hector) Cardenas of Highland, Calif.
