MONTE VISTA — Longtime Monte Vista resident Irene Teresa Wojcik, 74, passed away on January 2, 2021.  She was born

on April 18, 1946, in Wentorf bei Hamburg, Germany to Ludwik and Bronislawa (Zdrowian) Wojcik.  Irene enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family.

She is survived by her children, Linda Moore of Monte Vista, and Richard (Catherine) Wojcik of Pueblo as

well as her grandchildren Shawn Moore, Shane (Brooke) Moore, Andrew Wojcik and Kevin Wojcik, four great-grandchildren and her sister Lora Maul of Alamosa as well as numerous other extended

family.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law Lonnie Maul.

A private family interment will take place at the San Luis Valley Cemetery in Monte Vista.  To express
