ALAMOSA — As the sewer infrastructure continues to be replaced on 12th Street in Alamosa, the following areas will be closed: the intersection of 12th Street and Hunt Avenue, Hunt Avenue from 11th to 13th Street, and 12th Street from State Avenue to Denver Avenue. Anticipated reopening for these areas is set for October 5th.

Residents will still be able to access their homes but will not have the ability to travel through the intersection. There is heavy construction activity in this area along with elevated noise levels from the pumps and motors that will be operating 24/7. Please use alternate routes if you will be driving in this area.
