Interfaith service explores Sabbath

ALAMOSA — In our busy lives, how do we un-plug and take time for our souls? Keeping the Sabbath has been a Biblical command. Can we take this historic habit and adapt it to today’s environment? An interfaith service will take place at 330 San Juan Avenue at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30.

Rev. Don Hanna from the Alamosa Presbyterian Church, Alice Price from the Anabaptist Fellowship and Patricia Eagle from the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will look at this practice rooted in tradition but whose tenets can be applied to practices fit for our present hectic and troubling world. All are welcome.
