A truck from the Mosca-Hooper volunteer fire department works on extinguishing embers of a grass fire at the intersection of Stanley Road and County Road 102 at approximately 7 Monday night.

The fire started as a controlled burn that got out of hand. It spread to roughly 15 acres of land and destroyed two camper trailers and one vehicle.
