Glenn Leonard Alexander

Saguache resident Glenn Leonard Alexander, 90, went to his eternal rest on March 25, 2021 at the Rio Grande Hospital in Del Norte with his loving wife by his side. Glenn came into the world on November 30, 1930, the son of Clyde Alexander and Ruby Williams Barber Alexander. Glenn served and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He served during the Korean War. Glenn was united in marriage to the Love of his Life Penny Crowe on June 21, 1991. The two shared a long, loving and happy union until his passing. On his free time he enjoyed fishing, going horseback riding, playing cards and spending time with his loving family.  Glen was a kind, loving and compassionate person and he will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife Penny Alexander of Saguache, CO; daughters Rhonda (Jim) Hribar of Walsenburg, CO; Christina (Aaron) Boyer of Penrose, CO; sons Rick (Nicole) Alexander of Florida, Jeff (Phyllis) Alexander of St. Louis, MO; James (Tami) Alexander of Ogden, UT; Glenn Alexander Jr., of Montgomery City, MO; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, brothers George (Gayle) Alexander of Saguache, CO; Harry Alexander of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Ruby Alexander, brothers Eldon, Edward, Henry and Ronald Alexander and one sister Betty Kent.
