MONTE VISTA — Monte Vista resident Gladys Ann Sisneros, 63, passed away peacefully March 30, 2020, at her home with her loving family by her side. Gladys came into the world on August 30, 1956, in Monte Vista, the daughter of Joe Lobato and Mary Chavez Lobato.

She was united in marriage to Willie Sisneros Jr. on October 22, 1977, in Del Norte. The two shared a long and loving union until her passing. Gladys was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend; who enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her family and friends. 

Survivors include her husband, Willie Sisneros Jr. of Monte Vista; daughters, Kimberly (Brian) Smith of Westminster, CA; Jocelyn (Ray) Duarte of Lakewood, CA; sons, William A. Sisneros and Jose Jesus Sisneros both of Monte Vista; grandchildren: Rachel Smith, Jacob Smith, Leah Smith, Jonathan Sisneros, Joy Duarte, and one great-grandchild Eric Aguilar; sisters, Grace Minx of Denver; Linda Roybal of Monte Vista; and Marvene Lobato of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary Lobato; sisters: Naomi Salazar, Jean Chacon; and one brother, Joe Lobato.
