Get your last minute gifts by local artists available December 16

ALAMOSA – Need that last minute gift to give your favorite uncle, cousin, sister, friend or sweetheart and want to make it special? Take advantage of the Holiday Art Expo from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday Dec. 16 and Sunday Dec. 17, at the Rodeway Inn, Alamosa (former Inn of Rio Grande).

Local artists will display their handmade art. Every piece is hand-crafted by the most talented artists in the San Luis Valley, giving you that perfect one-of-a-kind gift for your special someone.

At the expo visitors will be treated to fiber art by Perla Kopeloff, mosaic work by Carla Smith, enameled jewelry with scenes of the San Luis Valley by Coleen Astalos, wood scroll saw holiday ornaments by Bill Brooks, paintings by Morris Sowards and more. Come support local valley artists; enjoy a cup of spiced cider and a delicious cookie. Santa will also be available for photos.
