Fundraiser features ‘Tastes of the Valley’, purse sale

ALAMOSA—GFWC Woman’s Citizenship Club’s Annual Spring Luncheon will feature “Tastes of the Valley” with food prepared by Mary Sue’s Morsels of Alamosa and The Sunflour Cafe and Bakery of Monte Vista, plus a fabulous sale of purses and other useful bags, each filled to the brim, all in a colorful Spring setting.

The luncheon will be held Wed., April 25, between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, corner of Murphy and Mullins Ave. in Alamosa. Tickets are only $15 per person.

For all guys and gals who love good food and a chance to buy special, unique gifts this will be a memorable event. Give yourself and friends or family, a happy spring treat when you buy tickets for this luncheon. The number of tickets is limited, so only available until sold out.

Lunch begins with Mary Sue’s Morsels’ Mandarin Orange Spinach Salad, followed by The Sunflour Cafe and Bakery’s – Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs, a Twice-baked Loaded Potato with Vegetables, and dessert – a scrumptious Red Velvet Cream Cheese Cake Pop.

All kinds of purses and bags will be for sale. Find smart, handsome styles for shopping and evening, fun totes, little girl delights, bags for gym or traveling in style, and more. All will be filled with accessories, toiletries or fun trinkets and treasures. Find a perfect gift for mother, child, graduate or yourself.
