Fulton Duane Kloberdanz, 78, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2023, surrounded by family.

Duane grew up in Sterling, Colo., and while in school, participated in 4-H, FFA, band and choir. Upon graduation, Duane spent time working for co-ops as a manager while living in Imperial, Nebraska and Monte Vista, Colorado.

Duane and his family moved back to Sterling in the early 70’s where he farmed north of town and started raising and feeding cattle. Duane spent most of his life working in agriculture, dedicated to ranching, horses, and dogs.

He had many hobbies, grilling, smoking BBQ, hunting, and loved spending time in the mountains fishing and spending time with family.

Duane is survived by his daughters Koda Claunch, Brenda and Barb Kloberdanz, son Keineen, and four grandchildren Wyatt, Kolby, Lola, Coltere.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Duane’s memorial service will be held June 10, around noon at Big Meadows Reservoir. Food to be served until it’s gone. Bring your own chair.
