Books are back MAY 8

Used books, movies, and music CDs are overflowing at Spines Book Warehouse, which will be open for the first sale of the season on Saturday, May 8 from 9-2. Friends of the Alamosa Library expect to have a full season of sales from now until October. Each will be announced in the newspaper and on the library and Friends websites.

Patrons are asked to wear their masks and we will limit the number of people in Spines at one time.

Featured this month are DVDs and CDs and craft books on sale for 50 cents each, along with our monthly table of free items. We have raised the price of hardbacks to $2 each, but other prices remain the same. By becoming a member of Friends at $10 per year, you may receive a 20% discount on purchases.

Proceeds benefit numerous library programs and the twenty-three Little Free Libraries around town. You may donate books at the sale or at the library (please, no encyclopedias or magazines). Contact Allyn 588-9410 or Rhonda 580-2010 for more information.
