Free citizenship aid offered

ALAMOSA — Catholic Charities Pueblo has partnered with CUNY Citizenship Now to provide free, high quality, and confidential immigration law services to help individuals and families on their path to U.S. citizenship.

They will provide free citizenship application assistance from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 30, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 715 East Fourth Street, Classroom 3, Alamosa. Call 719-545-4702 ext. 105 for an appointment.

Bring green card, passports, employment history, children’s information, marital history and certificates of disposition of any arrests, tickets or citations. Those eligible are those 18 years of age or older who have lived in the U.S. as a green card holder (permanent resident) for five years or three years if married to and living with spouse who is a U.S. citizen.
